Proportioning valve issues?

Just curious guys, has anyone else had problems with their Proportioning valves? Everything else in the brake system seems to be fine, but after we bled the brakes repeatedly, the pedal comes up but it still looses pressure, but no fluid, it's got us f@&ked!! :@ :banh:

Any help would be greatly appreciated, cheers, Paul.

is it an aftermarket proportioning valve????

Does it have to be set in a certain 'bias' to do the bleeding procedure?

What set up do you have? Are you losing fluid? I've just been through a similar problem with mine.

I have a 1" master cylinder, aftermarket prop valve, the factory distribution block, hydraulic handbrake and twin spot nissan calipers set up on the rear in that order. We had an issue with the pedal getting longer and it losing a bit of fluid each time we ran the car. After bypassing the hydraulic handbrake the problem solved itself. Turns out the handbrake master cylinder had a mark on the seal and it was weeping through it when pressure was applied.

There is a particular process for bleeding the rear brakes if you have a hydraulic brake fitted as well.....

Thanks guys, we've now gone a different direction, and can't really test anything until it's all set up and completed.
