LA Lancer adjustable coilover suspension

Post by ryzor »

Picked up a set of front and rear cusco inserts for a r33 gtr for cheap, they seem pretty flash with adjustable dampening ect.
I have a set of front struts from an 80s ex lancer.

Now, my question is: What would be the best way about creating some coilovers?

I was thinking cutting them near the base and welding some threaded sleeves on?

51mm wide

49.16mm wide (inc thread)

47.51mm wide (without thread)

Any advice always appreciated!!!

Yep... Only way (other than stuffing around with r31 struts etc), is to weld on some sleeves.. Kits can be found on eBay with the perch and acc. Make sure you get the right diameter

All else fails.. See A112H :P
N/A ALL THE WAY
