Hello Comrades,
Some pics from my conversion of Galant Struts, to a shorter shock height (more travel) and shorter strut (hold lowered springs captive).
The strut inserts are approx 40mm shorter in body. Refer pics with measurements next to stock Galant insert.
You will need a grinder, welder, step drill and a few hours. Nothing is overly complicated and the SW20 MR2 Rear strut goes in housing nicely.
