Auto to Manual conversion

Post by SIC082 »

Just wondering if people are going down the hydraulic clutch path for the reason of their being no clutch cable mounting point on fire wall of an auto body. Other than the fact that the hydraulic is a better set up. Can anybone give me advice of best way to do manual conversion, I have a GN Sigma and plan on putting the B/W 5 speed out of my GJ in there. Do you use the hydraulic out of a Starion? If so any particular one? Cheers.

ive done it, youll need to modify the gearbox mount, auto body has holes further back which is piss easy.
and i made a mount to place on the firewall where the cable goes through. once again easy as.

Thanks for the advice, so it is not necessary to go hydraulic clutch? Is it much of a mod to gearbox?
