Hey guys just a quick one when changing a 1600 to a wide block 2.6 5 speed do I need to change the tail shaft and if so will a sedan tailshaft fit the wagon or do I need a wagon shaft ?

Re: Sigma tail shaft
Your being way too vague with that question mate; we don't charge anything if you type more, so give some detail
what model sigma?
what engine combo?
what type of 5 speed

Old school Mitsu's, its not a hobby; it's a life style.

Re: Sigma tail shaft
The output spline in the BW gearbox is different to the Narrow block MMC gearbox, which is also different to the Wide block MMC gearbox.
Not sure if the auto gearboxes (BW and Torqueflight) would fit either.
So to sum it up, most likely you will need another tailshaft, or just a yolk if your lucky.
Cheers.
