Re: 4g63t into 1978 sigma
lot of info - http://projectzerog.com/forum/
- gearbox: you'll need a narrow block box - yep - but dont use the borg or jap box, they wont last long. min the supra w5x - with luck, going T56 my self - http://projectzerog.com/forum/viewtopic ... &start=300
- mount: ? Starion I think - and L300, maybe some L200s. ( im using the L300 )
- lsd: good luck - yep - Still think the R31 diff with aftermarket lsd is the easiest option. ( done that on the gh, just need the lsd now - s13/GTR hybrid cradle on the GK 4g63 )
- manifold: - will need blocking off - new flange welded - XF tb for the win. http://www.walkercorp.ath.cx/car/11.jpg
- water plumbing: - make your own or Jay Racing kits - http://www.jayracing.com/index.php?main ... x&cPath=13
Suggest the Alternator Relocation kit while your at it - http://www.jayracing.com/index.php?main ... ducts_id=9

Re: 4g63t into 1978 sigma
everyone in NZ is too busy putting 4g63t 's into EX Lancers as than seems to be the cool thing to do at the moment.
Gen 3 galant/Sigmas are getting quite rear in NZ,
I Definitely see more Gen 1 and 2 Galants getting around.
i Was seriously considering heading down the DOHC 4g63 path (but naturally aspirated) but for now im going with the 4g52 as i have one in my garage and i have headers for it.

Re: 4g63t into 1978 sigma
Mate do us a favour and could you please put all your pics and a good descriptive thread in the build section?!
We would love to see it all come together!
Diffs - Check out all the previous threads about diffs!
Lots of options!
R31 Skyline, Hilux, Commodore BorgWarner seem to be the most popular!
All will get you a good ratio and LSD and strong enough
But have a good look at the other threads asking about this, they all cover the same info over and over again!
Cheers
