Fluid good, linkages right, converter seems seated and engaged (tested it as best I could through the inspection space). I suspect I may have put the GN converter in instead of the original GE converter. Are they different? Confirmation would be appreciated.GN torque converter into GE transmission

Hi everyone. I have hooked up my original GE trans to my new 2.6 motor (ex GN). Can’t get it to select a gear. Fluid good, linkages right, converter seems seated and engaged (tested it as best I could through the inspection space). I suspect I may have put the GN converter in instead of the original GE converter. Are they different? Confirmation would be appreciated.
