First of all; hi!
Not many of these cars in Europe, and in Norway they can probably be counted on a single hand. Seems none of the Mitsubishi dealers can help either, so I am now asking you for help identifying a part number.
What I am missing is a part on one end of the countershaft, near the transmission. In Norwegian it is called a simring/simmering. I think it is called a seal in English. It's a ring, and at the moment it is causing an oil leakage.
Sorry for vague description, and thank you for any answers

Sounds like you need a crankshaft rear main oil seal. The part number will depend on the engine you have .
If you have a 4G52 4G63 4G54 engine fitted then you need to chase up one of these..http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NOK-REAR-MAI ... 1765563592

Thanks a lot!
Ordered and on it's way around the world!
And hello to you, "neighbour"!
I've actually found most parts locally, and the local Mitsubishi dealer still has the microfilms necessary to locate parts numbers. Unfortunalty, the only guy who knows how to operate that monster is now on a three week holiday. And according to Murphy's law, the seal blew two days later.. x)
