Re: Mitsubishi Libero diff
Libero = lancer right ?
so isn't it just an EX lancer diff

GH Sigma, 16" Mesh wheels, sports steering wheel and a V8 exhaust
Re: Mitsubishi Libero diff
As far as I know the Libero was the Japanese name for a Lancer wagon and was only FWD.
If we are talking EX Lancer diff then as I have said 14 billion times on this forum they are Identical to the 10 bolt diffs we saw here. Only difference is they were available with an LS option and when optioned with LS they came with vented rotors, same as used on Starion.

They had an awd too they use the fuel tank out of them in the jumbuck conversion.

Nice, wasn't aware. Sounds like it might be the perfect set up for a few different types of cars if you were looking for a AWD conversion

everything I can find on the libero AWD points to it using IRS !
Perhaps the solid axel pictured is from an older rwd (ex lancer) libero and was chosen so it could use the factory Jumbuck leaf springs to locate it ??

All liberos i have seen in nz have live axle, even the 2wd
models. They had an option for lsd on the turbo model i think
