Which flex plate?

Post by hengagc75 »

Hi guys I am thinking of doing an engine swap from 4g32 to 4g54 with the efi setup and was wondering what flex plate I will need if sticking with the g32 auto box? Will be doing a manual conversion once I have my full lisence. Thanks!

You will need a flex plate from a narrow Astron.
Not sure if the Saturn torque converter will blot up to the Astron plate though. You may need to run a Sigma box?

Strongest narrow block box you will find is a 5 speed from a Triton. Grab the flywheel and clutch while you are at it if you can.

Doesn't matter as long as it has a narrow block engine. 4G52/4 or 4G63
