anyone toyed around with surface gap spark plugs in an astron?

.028" to .032" depends on the comp,cam,plug,feul,and
many other variables but its down to .004 thou now

ok lol, ive never seen those, wouldnt the spark be too close to the plug and not ignite the fuel as well?

Top fuel cars run them so i asume they work well

theres variants for all types of engines

It would be a tad difficult to change the gap...

i run those in our alcohol engine thay work well but foul
easily but this is due ot mecanical injection (and only varing
the air supply
but give them a run i think you will find that there is no gain
to be had with an astron unless your boosting high psi
