Hi Guy's hope you can shed some light I have recently purchased 2 early lancers both have 4g32B engines in them. I am looking at rebuilding one for my son's LA 2 door that we are building at the moment. I know when I was a teenager ripping out the chain drive for the belt drive was an upgrade, I myself would always go the option of a 2.6 astron best bang for buck when you don't have any money. As laws have changed it has to stay 1600 so he can drive it. The two 4g32B's I have are very different, it looks like one has counter balance shafts and one doesn't, Is that correct?
Big question is do I rebuild one of the belt drives or the chain drive?
