Hi everyone
I just gained possession of a belt-drive 4G32 in a 76 LA Lancer, and the bloke who sold it to me said it had a #5 cam in it. However, he wasn't exactly truthful with anything else he told me about the car, so I am more than a bit doubtful.
Anyway, I've got a photo of the numbers stamped on the end of the cam, but I don't know how to read them:
The numbers appear to be: 8 B? 6? on one side, and 1 4 9? on the other.
Any help appreciated!!!
Mick

Don't know what cam that is,but I have never seen a genuine #5 in a belt drive engine. They were only available for a chain drive.
