Port Matching 4g52

Post by Jailjubic »

So I've decided to stick with the stock astron I 4g52 head and port it out. I've been reading about port matching and I'm curious what is the best way to do that. I've been looking at webers from recarb.com.au. They do a single 45 dcoe carby and manifold for the 4g52, but if I port it out, that means the manifold won't match anymore right? What are my options there? I intend to call tomorrow and see if they have any solutions for that. My mechanic said I might wanna look for different valves to match, rather than having new ones made or so. Is it possible to port it to the size of the astron II heads and use valves from those? Otherwise what is my best/cheapest option there? Any guidance on this would be appreciated!
