Fitted a .47 housing to my Garrett

Post by Sigmaproject »

Had some turbo bits laying about, and time to kill , so I decided to fit the .47 exhaust housing to the T04 and see what the result was. And the result is (as you would expect) that it comes on boost a lot sooner than the .63 ..and makes it heaps better car around town and at country speed limits.
Best thing I ever did.

When does it start ?
And more importantly when is it all out?
Nice to see someone keen to experiment

Starts around 2000rpm. I tend to short shift around 3000/3500 so I do not know when it runs out of puff. Definitely goes harder, and has made the clutch slip a bigger problem.
