What engine have I got?

Picked up a free astron engine but its different to the astrons i normally have in my sigmas...what have I got? It doesn't have the usual 4g5x stamp on the block and the sump is the other way around, have attached pictures

Looks like a series II Astron 2.6L....I just don't know what car it come from (triton, pajero, sigma, scorpion, magna.

Going by the rocker cover ..it is an Astron 2 import. Scorpion / Triton / Pajero

Would be out of a 4WD at a guess (sump is reversed)
Good drivers have dead bugs on the side windows.....

What head has it got? Mxx ? Assuming engine has its original head, it can be deduced... Eg M5,6,7,8,9 magna. M26 27 28 29 etc is pajero.
