Carb to EFI 4G63 Single Cam

Post by 78Sigma »

Has anyone done a 4g63 single cam carb to efi change, i seem to have problem after problem with carb feeling like it is running out of fuel and just want it to be reliable. i have re-kitted a couple of carbs and one ran worse the other is "ok" but coughed and spluttered on the way home last night now its time to dump the carbs and go efi.

any help would be appreciated.

I stand corrected, the mid 2000's L300 Express vans run that setup......If you grab it's EFI gear and the computer......it may get you going....so to speak

I would be checking fuel filter, fuel pump and lines before anything else...
as you said you re-kitted a couple of carbs and still having problems. you either missed something or put something in wrong or not have it adjusted correctly.
Also check plugs, leads and points (if it has them)

if not as stated, get all the gear off the L300 van and should pretty much bolt on so to speak.
