Non balance shaft Astrons

Post by A112H »

Can anyone tell me if the non-balance shaft Astrons use the same water pump as the balance shaft engines?
I am having trouble finding anything to say they are different but would like some sort of confirmation before buying one.

Early 4G51 and 52 Astrons were non-balance shafts.
The precision international site lists the 1850 for a GE sigma but I am not sure if they were balance shafted engines or not.
They do list the GE 1850 pump as the same as all 4G52 and 54 but looking at them I am not sure

Stealth's right - I sourced most of my 52' non balance shaft from a forklift supply side.
Great engine - bulletproof bottom end and the heads can be massively ported (H)
Finding bits for rebuilds are getting harder though - NZ still has stock around the place - check with some of the NZ lads.
Good drivers have dead bugs on the side windows.....
