4g32 tappets/lifters etc

Post by Taz »

Hey guys just a quick question to save me some effort having a look myself.
Have an LC lancer with a 4g32 (belt) and the ticking noise is hideous upon acceleration - i imagine this is due to worn or out of adjustment lifters. Are they adjustable or am i up for a new set of lifters to put in?
If so, does anyone have the adjustment gaps or can link me to a place that sells new sets?
Cheers

Mine were noisy. got the specifications from my workshop manual for both hot and cold. Definitely do them when hot. Even if you have the specifications for cold, they will still be noisy (no where near as bad) when the engine warms up. I can scan you the page tonight when I get home if I remember hahahaha.
