Are both distributors on these engines interchangeable? The parts (Dizzy cap, points etc) look physically the same so I was just wondering if they were identical units.
Second question - we don't get Mitsubishi Magnas over here so I was wondering if there was an easy option for electronic ignition?

Hmmm, I'm not certain whether the dizzies are the same, but I'd be careful making the assumption based only on the cap and points being the same. It's possible the parts are interchangeable, but the dizzy itself could be different, either subtley or majorly. Perhaps someone with more wisdom on here can answer 
Regarding Magnas, while you may not have had these, you may have had the equivalent Galant over there, or something else that has electronic ignition. Or you could look for after-market options too... Good luck!
