4g32 with no5 regrind timing.

I have just put a 4g32 into my gd galant. It is running I'm told a regrind no 5 cam , twin 40 mm webers and the compression is unknown. But I guess between 9 and 10: 1 . It is running the standard distributor with the vac advance disconnected. Now I know the idle timing specs for a stock motor are around 0 to 2 degrees advanced. What should I set mine at idle and how much total timing and at what rpm should I get the distributor recurved to.
Cheers
Zvon.

Probably closer to 5-10 degrees advance.
If it is a true #5 grind it works well on overlap and needs to be quite lumpy to keep it going.
My mates Lancer idles at 1000rpm but it sounds like 600-700.
As for cam specs I have no idea, but would also be interested to know.

Cheers
Matt

No one wants to divulge the cams specs. Why? I don't know. Must be a works no 5 cam sect or something. Would help the guy recurving the distributor heaps to know the cam specs. As he calculates induction cam compression and gearing to set the distributor for that combo.
