Save a phew quid and a lil performance.

Post by mstrrab1992 »

ok, so I am going to turbo my sigma.......WELL, I have been thinking......... the turbo manifold are a little hard to comeby, I was wondering, what do yall think of superchargers??? ive been looking at a SC14 which is off a Toyota, they use them on v6 commodore and stuff..

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/TOYOTA-SC14- ... 3a7f0f7cd4

it possibly would save me some money and a little hassle... but im not sure.. the other think I like about the supercharger is the sc14 has a clutch on the front of it, sorta like a air con, now I realise they work of the belt..so ud loose a few hp when its engaged, but how much hp increase do you reckon could be achievable.?

there's an interesting build thread on here somewhere where someone successfully supercharged their siggy on the cheap. Think it was one of the NZ crew.
If you haven't already, it's worth a look.
