Down draft carb set ups

Post by A112H »

Okay, so I have a complete set of these to suit an Astron but the spacing is different to the set up on the GTO, the air box won't fit :(
Any ideas? Both sets look completely stock and the carbs are the same.
Just measured the spacing between the centre posts and the set on the GTO is 205mm and the other set is 175mm.

I have a spare one I had made up for my set as I had minimum spend. Seen it?

Sounds like one setup is for an Astron & one is for a Saturn ?

Do you think Dave that maybe the non-balance shafted Astron use Saturn manifolds?
I have seen extractors advertised in Japan to suit GTO's and they say the suit 4G32 and 4G52

No idea Jason ... but I doubt it. Can't see there being such a thing as interchangeable 32/52 extractors, either ?

the tabs need to just be folded down by a sheet metal guy. Laser etched Chrysler Logo at 0.5mm width. Suit XC Falcon air filter

But the hole spacing may be wrong.. i stall have the AutoCAD file if you want it?
