Stroke 4G52 ?

Post by Xaser »

Hi, i wondering, how is the best way to stroke the 4G52 Engine.
I put 1mm Oversize piston, but I like to know if the Crank of 4G54 Fit's on this block, and if i can the same rod, or need new rods.
Cheers

G'day mate

Unfortunately no. The 2.0l crank goes in the 2.6 but not the other way around. I'm pretty sure the block decks are higher.

Not having a go, but just wandering why you would want to stroke a 4g52 instead of going to a 4g54?
