4G63/SR20 In LA Lancer

Hey, everyone...

I'm just wondering if anyone has done a 4G63 (as in, fuel-injected Evo 1-6) OR an SR20 out of... whatever has that (a Pulsar SSS?) conversion into an LA Lancer?
I just want to know, like; how hard it is, who has the best recomendations on where to get engines/gearboxes, what TYPE of gearbox would bolt up (as to make it RWD)... and to know if even it's POSSIBLE!!
I'm REALLY looking forward to a conversion like this... so, if anyone has a simpler conversion (still a fuel-injected engine) please let me know!!
Any information would be helpful...

You'll be better off with the 4G63 setup.....far more common conversion with us Mitsu fans....so much more detailed information on it

Personally i think the 4G63 engine is just as good as the SR20. still twincam, 4V/cyl head, makes good power with smooth running in std form, and has seemingly unlimited support in the aftermarket dept.

Yeah, I thought it was a bit 'taboo' to put the Nissan engine in it lol

just scroll through the lancer and galant sections.......there are quite a few of them around (not sure about LA Lancer but definately later models). A112H has quite a detailed build thread here (some 30 odd pages long)

From someone that has an SR20 in a LC Lancer ..... don't do it !
You will have trouble clearing the steering, the gear box is much bigger and will need tunnel mods and the brake booster won't fit ...... other than that BLOODY GREAT
