Around the 875kg from memory. Not enough to legally fit a 2.6 in NSW

Search button is your friend, for exact weights........

It is legal in nsw under new and old laws. The net said 900 old laws were times 3 new is times 4..just asking if anyone else knew and if there was any other story to this, this is the new laws as far as i can tell, even with the old laws it was times weight by 3 and that was 2625cc and technically the 2.6 astron is 2,555 CC.. so yea, its legal? just means cant be turboed in nsw.

Do you mean what weight they actually are or what weight the compliance plate says?
I have found this to be slightly different sometimes (my galant was heavier than compliance plate said by 65kg)

You probably have it sorted by now, I'd love to hear what you have found.
It got me thinking & I pulled out the weigh bridge ticket from when I had to get the blue slip for my 4 door LB (4G32).... 875kgs

Not sure if the 2.6L is possible anymore in NSW, I would love to be corrected tho!

For what it's worth, the FIA Homologated (minimum) weights for the Lancer A73 (1597cc) were :

"LA" shape - 2 door 775kg, 4 door 800kg
"LB" shape - 2 door 840kg, 4 door 860kg

These would of course be for the JDM versions

According to this anything over 930kg can run a 2.6 Turbo (930kg x 2.75 = 2557.5cc's)

i got mine passed under the old laws but had to go through more scrutinised tests...

if you notice the table it states "recommended" not what is "allowed"

yes the rules in N.S.W are harsh now.
i have a registered 2.6L Turbo in my la lancer.

there are grey areas when it comes to engine conversions......advice for you.....do alot of homework...you might be able to get an engineers report of someone down there...
