Hey guys, I am new here. Posting pictures of my "Fire Arrow" from the USA. I guess this would be considered LC? First one is me from back in the day. And now some new ones of the "historic" rally car that I am getting down to finishing. I have a warmed over 2.6 going in, and plan to keep the original paint on the car (until I crash it that is)...hahaha.

Anyway, I love the little notchback coupe style Lancers, or "Colts" as they were in the USA. That is the smallest car....

Enjoy the pics.

Very nice steveracer, very tidy example
Are you going to start a build post to keep us updated with the build?

Damn I wish the Australian models came with black interior here? We had to put up with beige/brown :@

Dave...

you can paint the interior with vinyl paint -- I did the door linings, etc., in my LA and you can't tell them from originals.

Burabuda, what wheels are those on the blue car? Panasports? I see the plates are old school California on the front, are you located here in the states?

Nice car, really like the look!

What size are the rims (width, offset) or part number? I am looking for 6 of these, here in the US. Do you have spacers behind these, they look pretty flushed out with the body! Any help is appreciated.

I wonder how short you'd have to be to sleep in the back of the Lancer. Will try it out once I get my Lancer.

The green LB looks good too BTW.

Image
it is a bit tight especially with other broken toys
Image
My Wife Paula has labelled them Greengo and Redstop !!!
Greengo at the shops
Image
stocker out, turned out it was a 1600 pretty happy with that another one to build.
Image
angry thing in... 4g32 bored out to 1800 with Toyota flat top pistons 10:1 compression, lightened flywheel, balanced botom end flywheel and heavy duty clutch. double valve springs 40ml Dellorto with lynx crossover manifold. Extractors and 2 inch system; very very poorly installed by local dodgy as all truck exhaust shop.
Image
Time for a visit to the beach after all that work. Mags stolen from Redstop, wrong colour for greengo in my mind, would love some supalites anybody ?
