Freshly painted La Lancer

Post by Splatmarker »

Well after 16 years in the garage my lancer has paint again !! The motor is currently being rebuilt, does any body know about pistons and if we can go 70 thou oversize as it is already worn at 60. We are looking for flat top pistons to up the compression from the std 8.5.

i like the colour too, sorta like a red wine look to it.

would look good on a set of sigma turbos in the same colour, but thats just my style

Thanks guys, I thought the colour was going to be a lighter red, still happy but just gotta put it back together now. If anyone wants a windscreen washer bottle I have about eight !!!

This is a picture of my old lancer; sadly no longer with us, however initially I will use these wheels they just fit over the sigma brakes that I have which are attached to sigma struts 'I think' and adjustable control arms. I bought the front end about 15 years ago it came from an la lancer track car 'I think'.

Great colour, looks real good mate. Cant wait to see it come together, if the motor takes another 16 years though, it will almost be a vintage vehicle.
