I edited your post to fix up the pics
Re: SA STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS Nov.2012
I don't think the wing on the black evo is big enough.
I wonder if the front end gets light at high speeds with all that down force at the back.

Great pics, how often does this happen? I would love to go watch next time.

There's 5 rounds a year.
Hopefully my LA Lancer will be out joining these two in the next year or two. But I'm always around at the events, mainly helping my friend in the Toyota Levin.

You put your left foot in, You put your right foot in, You take your left foot out and you slide it all about.

Re: SA STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS Nov.2012
the wing on the Evo looks like it was stolen from a Top Fuel dragster!
He's also got cooling ducts directing into the cabin......but the exhaust is exiting through the door....does it run through the floor and into the cabin????

Re: SA STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS Nov.2012
The evo will have had a section of the floor raised to lift the exhaust up higher to fit a flat floor/undertray to the car for aerodynamic purposes.
The duct in the side window (most race cars have them these days) will feed fresh air to either the drivers cool suit icebox or directly at him.
You should probably have a close look at sport sedans and time attacks for a bit more detail on this...........
