Hi guys
is it possible to do a auto to Manual conversion on a 82 scorpion without custom mods.
Car will be a daily driver so i need it to be all working eg.speedo

Im thinking possibly a small cut and shut on the shifter hole in the tunnel? if the boxes are physically longer/shorter like a lancer then youll need to make way for the shifter poking through.

Also auto wont have the clutch locator tube on the firewall like an auto, will also need to be addressed

Main thing i was worried about is can i go and buy a sigma 5sp or jap 5 spd and bolt it straight up.
Are the blocks the same auto to manual ?

Blocks are different. As you already have an auto block you will need the gearbox, flywheel, clutch and so on off a 2.0 litre motor.
