My badge quest is complete !

Thanks to diligent hunting by Affa over the last couple of years, I now have a complete set of Galant 16L GS badges ... mostly NOS



From the top :

• front guards
• bootlid
• grille & rear panel
• C pillars

Now I just need the factory rally team paint job to go with them ..... maybe one day !


(It's a bummer the JDM 5-lens tail lights won't fit a GB without metal surgery )

Interestingly though, the factory rally cars actually had the horizontal bar cut out of the grille & mesh behind .... so I reckon I can make a "replica" out of a stock GB one easily enough :


On a side note .... the factory cars ran a rear bumper bar on the front, and also had some major surgery to the front valance !


I have a set of 16L indicators .... but need to find some of those organge parker lenses ! I'm wondering whether it might be possible to paint or dye some stock clear ones ?

davetreees, buying amber lens dye is easy enough....most speed shops sell lil bottles (we're talking under 100mL) of the dye so u can re-paint the faded lenses
