I like them, think they are about the same as the stockers in appeal and will make the car stand out alot, or make it look like a 70's mazda, lol.
I think I will get a pair just because I can't get a stock set new and I want new shiney lights, lol

UPDATE

he has everythin bar the rear rubbers

ok. im supposed to go to the supplier on monday, but if there still arent any rear rubbers, ill just ship off what i have

and he will be shipping tuesday of wednesday im guessing

not long now

oh and also im gettin a set of 40mm solex side draughs overhauled and detailed if anyone is interested

im going out of town for the new year, will be back jan.4. last hope for rear rubbers is about 100 kilometers on the way to my destination. if i still dont get the rubbers by then, ill go to the fedex office on monday and let you know fedex rates to perth so i can ship out the stuff to you

YAYYY - sorta

i brought the stuff to the fedex satellite office here for final assessment and clearance last friday. yesterday (monday) i got a call from them that there was a problem -- second-hand/used items are not allowed! so the steering wheel and the window mechanism had to be excluded form the shipment. they advised me to "make the items look new and wrap them up well" to get through customs in australia.

anyway, i shipped out the rest of the stuff already: 12 strut mounts, 4 windscreen rubbers (3 front, 1 rear), 6 garnishes, 4 signal lights, 11 bonnet stoppers (this is all i could get my hands on).

ill see what i can do about the steering wheel and the window mechanism. im a bit pissed about the window mechanism because the damned thing IS NEW OLD STOCK, but probably doesnt LOOK new!

sorry again for all the delays. as i mentioned some time ago, my sister wasnt able to give me the funds until much later -- she had a miscarriage, lost a baby...

this sucks

i just found a strut mount in my car! that means i only shipped out 11 pieces!

ill just ship this strut mount with the steering wheel and window mechanism...

by the way, can you ask your fedex affice about the regulations regarding shipping of used items? the fedex office here says that if personal/used items are shipped there, the shipment could be penalized US$ 99 and either be shipped back to the country of origin at the shipper's expense, or be destroyed.

crap, if the parts are dirty it could be an issue as dirt could contain nastys that arnt allowed in but usually you will get the bill for fumigation

Yep I agree that's crap - we have a manufacturing business in Australia (brisbane) & Texas (Austin) (www.touchmate.com.au) and we move a lot of stuff back and forth and I have never heard of this and we pretty much only use FEDEX and have been doing that for 5 years.

It may be different for individuals but you would not think so.. dumb arse Yanks - never trust them
