New oil shouldnt be black yet anyway.
Did you get the head rebuilt? because I know that if the cam is pulled out and the head sandblasted or cleaned a lubricant (which looks shiny) is put under all the bearings and lobes of the cam.
Hope this helps

new engine with new rings will leave the oil looking mettalic till the firct change.

take the oil to a mechanic if unsure, but if youve already dropped the oil once after over 50kms then i would be a little cautious

this is after the second oil change.
the head i had done by a proper mechanic because the motor came back with the wrong head on it.
Take the oil to a engine reconditioned, he not sure if its bearing. The motor has no nocks either.

thanks
