Hello all,
I have a 1974 GC galant in which I am 'restoring'. It is currently running all though not all that well. I only picked it up last week, so at this stage all I've been able to do was get it running and give her a good old clean. Theres very little rust and no body damage so I'm happy about that, all though the paint is peeling in places but nothing horrible at this stage. The inside is all torn up, which will require re-trimming. At this stage the indicators don't work and I believe the reverse lights are constantly on. Will be looking for advice and curious as to what other people have done with their galants.

My GC
Re: My GC
So as it turns out, the previous owner has disconnected the alternator (due to the fact it needs to be replaced) and has put in an aftermarket switch which controls the reverse lights . The left hand rear brake cylinder was also seized. So in order for me to be able to register the car, I have replaced front wheel bearings, I am replacing both brake cylinders, I am replacing the seals in the brake callipers, and I may replace the brake discs.
Cheers, Brendan.

Re: My GC
