Ignition Coil setup?

Wondering if anyone could post an image or give insight into the ignition coil setup. I replaced mine with an Accel... I also got a new resistor for it; which I'm hearing may not be necessary....?

Thanks,

B

Yep, some more details would be great :-)

True, depending on your coil, you may not need a resistor. Some (many?) coils have sufficient internal resistance, making the external one redundant. Best to double check in the specs of your electrical system (most manuals have this info) what the R is supposed to be, and you can measure using a standard ohmmeter/multimeter. For example, my GC 4G32 has a resistor as standard, but I use a coil with sufficient internal resistance, so don't need the resistor.

Good luck!
