Just out of curiosity who prefers which model?
Im not a full book on these (aside from the obvious front and back differences)
Personally, always been a fan of twin headlights, however the grille on my GD isnt great.
The tail lights of the GC are ALOT better IMHO too!!

Who prefers what and why?

I prefer twin headlights but am not a fan of the arse end of GD sedans and hardtops. Lucky I have a GC hardtop so I get the best bits in one car

Like jase said. I love twin headlights! But the arse on em are nasty! So a gc taillight conversion is a good choice but as an overall.. Probably a gc

GD front is an easy winner.
GD rear is only just ahead of GC.

it must just be the grille on my GD that i dont like lol...

Can you mount GC taillights in a GD easy enough??

any difference interior wise?

haha, ive got a GC sedan (roller) and a GD sedan complete car minus manifolds and rocker cover....
if i brought another car the mrs would kill me hahahah

Looks like a GD to me

I Have to Say GD Front and GC Rear with GD rear a real close second. GC lights look tough, but GD looks tidy.

As much as I like the twin headlight fronts, I still prefer the uncomplicated singles in the GC front.






As far as twin headlight grilles there is a 3rd option. 77galantv6 showed the stock Australian and the Hardtop version, but there is this option as well.

im keen on the gc front for mine i think, i like the clean look of the grill, im easy on the rear realy i think they both look good, when i was a kid the old man had a gc wagon and he cut the grill out and fitted 2 extra lights to it, but used the gd light if ya know what ya mean, looked realy good, gc lights on the out side of the grill as shey should be and 2 driven lights inside the grill cut into it, could be why i like galants i dunno lol

There is one thing I did for get to say before.
Ask yourself this question: Why are there 3 different versions of GD twin light fronts and only 1 GC grille?

There's only 2 types of GD grill (mine or the Jap spec)
The hardtop was for both GC and GD.....

Maybe they failed so bad with the GC that they said there were never going back to it?

You could also find a GT grill from an American Colt?
I know a certain wagon owner that has one.....

Out of the two I'd have to say I prefer the GC, although I am a fan of the GD front end.

GT Grills aren't quad headlights though unless it's for a 71-73(GB). US tails are hideous, I vote for GC or GD front with GC tails...

I think it's a common grill on cars imported to the Philippines or is the Jap spec grill.
