tow bar for a galant wagon

Post by turbol200 »

im keen to make a tow bar for my gd wagon,iv got an idea how to go about it, im thinkn some rhs along the rear just under the back with 2 plates that go to the rear bumper brackets and two bits that go back just past the tank and bolt to the floor with plates on the other side, i cant see anything wrong with this setup, my old man is a welder so it wont fall apart lol, we have built traylors and stuff before, keen to know what other people have got or done pics would be sweet as, cheers Damo

Through the rear floor.

I've also got another one that is welded to the inside of the rear bumper brackets and hidden under the rear bar (much tidier set up, well, less obvious anyway).

I'll see if I can dig through my shed and find what I can take photos of.
If I haven't done it tomorrow, remind me (I've got a bit on lately, and it could easily get forgotten).
