5 stud options for GA/GB?

Post by tandanus »

Hi all,
Does anyone know of a 5 stud axle / front end option that will fit a GA?
Thanks
T.

Sigma struts with ford xa drum brake hubs for the front
From memory you use Holden or sigma wheel bearings in the ford hubs
There would be a few disc / calliper options

I have an l300 diff with ea falcon discs fitted but it is quite wide and will big flares to cover the wheels

Hey Simon,
Do you have any pictures by any chance? Never heard of this setup but it sounds interesting.
Was it for the GH style strut or the later 2 bolt model?
Is there something special about the drum hubs?

I just took a couple of photos but I've forgotten how to put them on here
The hubs are on the 2 bolt struts at the moment but I assume the stub axles are the same as the gh stubs
There were people on here talking about using trailer hubs but the quality of the hubs may not be good
I am not sure if there is a difference between drum and disc hubs on the xa falcon,I think some of the later falcons had a 1 piece disc/hub
I will see I can the pics on here
