another random question
out of interest
what should the oil pressure be in standard
2L astron from GH
mines over 80psi
thought was the gauge but tryed another
still over 80psi
few people think its a bit weird?

yeah that up there
should be around 60psi
no need to be that high and going to cause you some oil leaks
did you rebuild the oil pump and change the spring or shimmed it
or try changing your oil filter and using the correct oil 10w/40w

my 2.6 makes just on 100psi if i lean on the long pedal :shock:

makes about 60psi @ idle

So I am guessing that you welded up the oil pressure relief valve. ;)

are you putting 100psi into your turbo,and how are your seals

well i thought it was tyre smoke :lol: (that pic is of Green's Tuff.... different car to EVL ;) )

got a brand spanking new oil pump sitting here that is going on, after the respray, but before it leaves the shed

i flogged it hard once, and noticed the oil pressure was a tad high :lol: so it then got driven according to oil pressure
so i did look after it in that respect, all should be good

(turbo seals are brand new)
