Its the GN Astron II 2.6 ( the number plates tell you that ;) )that was fitted form new. I bought an old Scorpion that had been turbo'd and just swapped the turbo bits over to my motor. Had the block rebuilt and O ringed, removed the balance shafts, that sort of thing. Running at 15lb boost with a home made water injection (that works). Did the conversion 6 or 7 years ago.
Had the pressure plate rebuilt 30% stronger and use a Starion clutch plate.
Fitted Starion brakes and struts that also came out of the Scorp.

Its fun to drive ;)

I didnt know at the time, but the early Scorp diff that I had would have bolted into the wagon. BUMMER

I have been looking for a GN wagon in mint condition for a while now. The high roofs are not that easy to find in good nick... ;)

I was lucky with this one because it had been rustproofed by a firm in Newcastle before it hit the road in 1985. Still has the sticker under the bonnett. (And they are still in business today)

Also had been garaged all of its life. Only had 114k on it when I got it.

I have 3 vehicles, and the Sigma is the only one that gets garage space
