just got myself a starion dizzy for my turbo set up just want to know what wire is what as it has 3?

Can you put up a pic of the internals and the plug for the dizzy.
Usually there are only 2 wires coming from the dizzy, +(from ignition) and Switched +(to the Coil). Both are heavy duty.
Earth is usually via the block.
That is if the ignition module is on the dizzy.

GE's and GH's have an external ignition module mounted near the coil.

no modual on the dizzy screw on cap then screw on rotot

Remove the cap and rotor button, most likely it's inside. Also, how thick are each of the wires? Is 1 a lot thinner than the rest?

Most likely there are 2 thick ones (like the sigma) and 1 thin one for the Starion ECU to measure RPM.

I'll see if I can find anything online..

ok my bad just cut plug off and opend the dizzy the other wire is a shield or earth or somthing dosnt even go in the dizzy so there is just one yellow and one white wire so im guessing its just positive and negative

do you know what retards the timing is it the vac canister on the side?

The canister is vacuum advance / boost retard.

It should be plugged in on the engine side of the throttle body.

well car is all back together and dizzy has no spark :banh: not a simple bolt in replacement as i thought :( locked standard dizzy it is then
