gearbox to engine thread pitch info

Post by Rayds17 »

I'm in the process of putting my engine on a stand but have encountered a problem finding the right thread for the engine block.. if that makes any sense.. obviously the bolts are required to be longer than stock but info on the pitch is what i'm looking for.. I have been unable to uncover anything on the topic unfortunately.

14mm is the size of the spanner you need for them.

The thread size is M10 x 1.25

I ended up using bolts I stole out of one of my parts cars. From memory i think they were the steering box and idler arm mounting bolts that are longer to go through the chassis rails.
