interchangable radiators

Post by Scorpma82 »

Hey guys.

Quick question

With all the talk about alloy radiators from Silvia's and what not
Does anyone have a PIC of a sigma and station radiator for comparison?
Both these cars ran the 2.6l engine but the station was turbo charged...did it run a similar looking but bigger radiator?????

Nah im right thanx unique

But given that we always change/upgrade our cars with other Mitsu parts....why hasnt anyone fitted a Sarion radiator to a Sigma/Lancer/Galant

Is there no benefit in size/effeciency?
Are they not compatible?

Probably because there are 100's of different brands of s13 radiator on ebay and more times than less you can walk down the street to pick it up. If you look specifically for a mitsu radiator theres maybe 1 factory replacement for a stupid price that you have to wait 3 weeks for it to come from japan.

That was my experience when I needed a replacement sigma radiator for my gd. I then bought a real good s13 radiator because I knew they were used in the sigmas but didnt realise it was too wide for the chassis rail on the gd. Only option now is custom alloy.
