Ok, I don't know if it's because I've been watching too many hotrod dvds lately but I decided I might take the project Sigma through a different direction. Now I know many will probably not like it but I want to hotrod-o-rize my Sigma! What does that mean? Well, I'm talking black primer paint (matt black), no badges, lowered, either black or red stock rims, stock width steel rims on the front, widened stock steel rims on the rear, Triton V6 engine and manual gearbox conversion from Trition 2WD, but instead of EFi, put either tripple 2bl carbies or one single 4bl carbie.
Why this strange combination? Well old hotods were cars that were put together from parts of different old cars, made to go fast on a budget, and that is exactly what my Sigma was before I pulled it off the road. Me and my dad used to spent time together working on the Sigma and I want to do a similar thing to the Sigma in dad's memory. Plus I really miss driving the Sigma, so doing things this way will make the car cheaper to modify and more streetable when compared to the big turbo rotary engine I wanted! So I still get to have what I consider a cool car, sooner and cheaper.
Another big reason for going the hotrod route with the Sigma is because I don't think anyone has ever done this with a Sigma, well not exactly the way I want it. I have only ever seen two Sigmas painted in black primer, both of them wagons and both of them from people of this forum:
