VIOL8R rotary Sigma... need more info and pics please!!

Post by BAD-SIG »

Hi, does anyone have more information and or photos on the rotary powered yellow GH Sigma with the number plates "VIOL8R"? Here are the only two photos I found of it:

I'm also interested in finding out who did the conversion for the owner of this car. Any info would be most appreciated.

how do you push the front bar back like that? i saw it on a pale green GE sigma at auto salon a few years back. a very nice sigma. just like this car. the front bar is like an inch back. .

On this particular case it's because this car is a GH Sigma but has a GE Sigma front and rear bumpers. Otherwise, you can simply modify the mounting holes on the bumper brackets so the brackets go further in which in turn makes the bumpers sit further in closer to the body. One thing I plan to do to my GE Sigma front bumpers is clean them up by removing the bumper blinkers and making metal versions of the rubber bumper ends so they are all chromed and part of the main bumper. Maybe I've been watching too much Overhaulin'!!!

Wouldn't GE Scorpian bumper ends fit, they are already chrome....

oh. so its a GE bumper on there. . cos i waswanting to do to my GE what ever was done to the GH. but if you look at the gh, the bumper sits further back, but the end bits are still in the same place. so its like the bumper its self is shorter and doesn't stick out the front as much. . i really like the look iof it :)

If you want something different then fit a GE Scorpion front to your Sigma! There used to be a metalic green GH Sigma wagon in Dandenong (Vic) with polished GK GSR mags and a GE Scorp front grafted on! It looked awesome. I wish I took photos of it, this was about 3 years ago, I used to see this car nearly everyday near where I used to work...

How about an L200 front on one? Now that would be different....

I've always wanted to see a GE sigma front on a Scorpian. That would look awesome...

well i have 2 good front GE chrome bumpers and the GE scorpion. 75wagon has seen them :) i should mix and match some :) and if i get the GH turbo siggie i'm wanting, i can put the GE front bar on it then :)

(See mum hoarding cars is a good thing lol) all the spares i have lying around lol so many times i've sent cars to wreckers when mum gets annoyed. i've probably sent about 4 Scorpion jap diffs to the wreckers to get crushed lol. i sent a PERFECT scorpion. faded paint and no engine, but NO rust what so ever and a straight body to wreckers. god i look back now and its sad to renember how many things i could have saved. .

but i cant wait if i get that GH. i will put the GE bumper on it first thing lol. then wind the boost down and then check oil so i dont blow another enging by running low on oil lol
