Taken from alanvale road, between 10pm and 4am, 12/13 march 2011.
Found at Brooks High School 4.20am, 13th march.

Stolen from Launceston 13/03/2011: 1974 GB Galant GOLD/BROWN from Alanvale Road between 11pm and 4am last night. Car was found burnt out at Brooks Highschool. Im after any information you can offer leading to the offenders. Call 0458158242 or 63542194 or 0400934461... or the cops!

working on getting another GB, but yeah... it's never going to be the same... =[

I knew ALFs history... my mother had ridden in him when she was a kid... a woman she used to stay with was the first owner...!

It's just so heart-breaking... =/ Just got new g.box and motor in shim, new exhaust system, new tyres... shockers, springs, etc .... everything fixed...
FINALLY found a brake booster for shim!! ... But now everything is just.. gone... =/

The motor might still be alright... exhaust system will be alright... gearbox should be alright, we hope... but everything else is just... f#*ked...

I've managed to save a mirror... the other is destroyed... this one is a little burnt, a bit melted around the edges, etc... it couldn't be used, but I'm keeping it in a box, along with a seatbelt (well, half a seatbelt), a headlight and the aerial... That's all I could salvage... none of it is any good for use, but it's a memories thing. Oh, and one number plate heh... the other is waaay gone... =/

We are sorry so sorry i have been to tassie & all the people i met with old cars down there i spoke with told most people respect the oldie cars in tassie it would be the last place in australia i think this would happen?.

Yep, like I said... he was just about complete... only needed a re-spray!! =( New 2" exhaust system in just a fortnight ago... new 2.0L motor and 5spd g.box about a month ago... Finally found a brake booster to fit shim... new tyres (only just finished paying them off a week ago!) suspension, shockers etc just done within the last couple of months...
Sigh...
My LAST and ONLY money spent on it... =/ In fact, the last $55 out of my wallet was spent on a tin of polish and to fill the tank with fuel.

Added up total of everything I had left in my car... approx $750.00 worth of belongings in the car... that I can remember being in there... most likely more stuff in it than I recall.. =/
