break the auto trans  and put in a manual :D

i was getting 450-460 kms to a tank with the auto
and now get 520-530 kms with the manual

this is based on a fill and drive till it stops test method  using the same type of driving through sevral tanks of fuel
i carried a gerry for a few weeks while testing. also replaced the fuel filter as i want to get all the crud out before the efi goes in.

im amazed how much fuel the autos suck, the cars not really much faster or better in 0-60 acceleration, but the pedal travel to hold speed is half of what it was with the auto. and the top end 80kmh + has much better acceleration

And if you get the EFI tune correct, it will be even more economic to run, even driven hard.

i wish it would be, but with low comp, 800cc injectors and 25PSI running E85 i think ill be lucky to get 350-400 kms to a tank.

good subject, i disagree stealth
in my case e85 has proven to be safer (more resistant to detonation)and noticeably more go go on the butt dyno
