my window pretty much fell off the regulator,i had a look inside and the thingy that the window sits in is all rusted,where would i be able to get a regulator from,store wise,im in west aust,anyone know if you can buy new or am i going to have to hunt down secondhand one,also wat other years are interchangeable,mines an 86gn wagon,i need front right door (drivers door)

I bought one for my GE in 1997 from Mitsubishi. But I'm pretty sure that they have thrown all sigma galant parts down the tip (or so I'm told). Try Shuggy, the place he's getting stuff from might have it.

yer one of mines pretty bad on my coupe ;\

Ive got the same problem on my drivers door :facepalm: so if anyone knows on the east or online much appreciated :D

Ummm.... hear me out here. I've had a few beers and it may get messy, but....

I have a GE (obviously) but the front doors are off a GN station wagon (they're the same, but for the nice black wing mirrors).
The window winding/regulator/shit inside the door thingumies are exactly the same.

If you have a GN wagon - I have a spare for each door. :D

im talking about the whole frame unit but the winding mechanics. as in the frame the glass sits in.

Sobriety brings clarity - sorry, the length of the channel the glass sits in is different, due to the mirror in door.
Winding mechanisms same - glass channel not.

It is a pretty simple piece of equipment though, if it's just the channel you're after. I'm sure you could knock one up.
