4G54 Motec Base Map wanted!!!
Got a M4 from a turbo magna wired it all up, communicates with laptop (Yay!) But the timing is 2 advanced ( I think??) must of had a stupidly lumpy cam in the previous engine. Cant get it to run or idol. Anyone got ignition points i can convert into the Motec program? Any help is appreciated

Don't know much about Motec, but my Haltech had a similar issue when first wired up.
With mine, the ignition trigger pulses are set to 60 degrees before TDC on #1. This angle is adjustable in software. This setting has MAJOR effect on ignition timing. ;)

well got it running today. Bosch 044 fuel pumps and a adjustable fuel pressure reg can cause problems esp when its pumping 140psi at the rail! lol gos 2 show check the basics 1st
