4G52/54 intake manifold layout?

Post by Speedy88 »

Hello chaps,
I'm going to fabricate a new intake manifold to start my bike carb conversion which will just be the manifold clamping plate with 4 short pipes welded to it. I'll then attach to the silicone pipes to the bike carb.

Would anyone happen to have the layout for the clamping plate or even the intake manifold gasket that goes between the manifold and engine block? I think although mine is 4G52, 4G54 should be the same.

I could take the existing manifold off and use that to take measurements however the car will soon be in use and I'd rather not. Does anyone have a template lying around somewhere?

Many thanks

If you can get your hands on some gasket paper it would only take a few minutes to cut one up. They are fairly simple to make and if you can get hold of a couple of hole punch pins to make the stud bolt holes it would make life easier.

Yes indeed but I still need the layout - I'm asking specifically if anyone has a printout I can use to make the manifold base outlines. I don't need a gasket as such.

Why not order a Gasket off ebay and keep it as a template for your future needs?

Ahh well I'd have to get a whole gasket set which will be about £100 with postage. Not something I can go spending right now. If nobody has a layout I can print, that's fine. It was worth an ask!
